The library maintains a large collection of books on cassette tape and books on CD. Many current, high-demand titles are now immediately available in audio format, as are more classical titles and works of non-fiction.  The library also offers downloadable audio books through the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium. The library also owns a large CD music collection with holdings in rock/pop, folk, New Age, opera, holiday, international, and classical releases. Up to 6 books on tape (or books on CD) can be borrowed at one time, and/or up to 3 music CDs, for a three-week checkout period. The library's video and DVD collection includes non-fiction items in these formats with informational themes such as series documentaries, biographies, travel, cooking, and foreign languages, as well as feature films and TV shows. A number of the library's videos are described videos, and some are closed captioned.
