Through the generosity of the Friends of the Newburyport Public Library we are able to offer museum passes and discounts to our patrons. Please call the Children's Room in advance to reserve a pass, 978-465-4428 ex.235.

Museum Pass Policy

1. Museum passes are provided free of charge to anyone who holds a valid Massachusetts library card and is a borrower in good standing. Borrowers must present their library card to check out a museum pass.

2. Museum passes may be reserved up to one month in advance by telephone, in person, or online. For online reservations, please click on ONLINE MUSEUM RESERVATIONS.

3.  One museum pass per family per day may be reserved in advance.

4.  Two passes per week may be reserved during school vacation weeks (February, April, and Christmas) excluding summer vacation.

5.  Passes must be picked up by 10:30 a.m. on the day reserved. If a pass is not picked up by 10:30 a.m., the library reserves the right to give and unclaimed pass to another borrower.
