Free Film- Local Military Heroes
November 10 | 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Join local film maker Dan Tremblay as he presents his film "Local Military Heroes" documenting the Submarine Story, Tokyo Bay, Captain George Street, the Collings Foundation, and WWII bombers. Free and open to the public. Located in the Program Room on the 1st floor of the Library. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Newburyport Public Library.
Library Food Drive
November 1 – November 30
The Library is once again partnering with Community Service of Newburyport, Inc. to collect food items to help stock their food pantry. Community Service is a non-profit agency that provides food, clothing, and emergency assistance to those in need in the Newburyport area. Please join us by bringing in non-perishable canned and boxed food items (be sure to check the expiration date on all items) during the month of November. Collection boxes are located in the Library lobby and Children's Room at 94 State Street, and at the Emma Andrews Branch Library at 77 Purchase Street.
