Join us to hear local author Bethany Goff speak about her new book, "A Brief History of Old Newbury." Ms. Goff is the Site Manager for Historic New England's Spencer-Pierce-Little Farm in Newbury. She will also be signing copies of her book. This free event will be held in the Library Program Room on the 1st floor, and is open to the public. Sponsored by the Friends of the Newburyport Public Library.
Library Food Drive
November 1 – November 30
The Library is once again partnering with Community Service of Newburyport, Inc. to collect food items to help stock their food pantry. Community Service is a non-profit agency that provides food, clothing, and emergency assistance to those in need in the Newburyport area. Please join us by bringing in non-perishable canned and boxed food items (be sure to check the expiration date on all items) during the month of November. Collection boxes are located in the Library lobby and Children's Room at 94 State Street, and at the Emma Andrews Branch Library at 77 Purchase Street.
