November 8 | 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
"A Vaudeville Retrospective" is a lively illustrated lecture, performance and exhibition that presents a fascinating look back at early 20th century popular entertainment. These variety shows were made up of unrelated acts of popular song, dance, comedy, acrobatics, lectures and unusual novelties. The influence of vaudeville is still with us today. Join presenter R. W. Bacon for a free program of literate and lively interpretation of vaudeville. Mr. Bacon is an acrobatic juggler, jazz banjoist, historian and museum professional.
