R.A.D. Training

The Newburyport Public Library is pleased to offer the following program to the women of the community. Taught by instructors of the Newburyport Police Department R.A.D. (Rape Agression Defense) Training will instruct women in self defense that's easy to learn, easy to remember and relatively easy to employ during confrontational situations. This is a series of classes that will begin November 4th and will meet the following three Thursdays in November 11/6, 11/13, 11/20. This program is sponsored in part by the Friends of the Library. There is a $15 suggested donation for materials and training. Space is limited. Sign-ups begin October 14th. Call Rebecca at (978) 465-4428 ext 226 for more information. All R.A.D.
