If you reside in Newburyport or pay taxes here you are entitled to a library card. Simply bring in identification proving residency or a current tax bill. Your Newburyport card is good in all Merrimack Valley Library Consortium on-line libraries and may be used at any other Massachusetts library. If you are from out of the area, an out-of-state borrower's fee is $75 per year for a card that permits Consortium-wide use, or $25 per year for a card usable only at the Newburyport Public Library.
