A haunting mystery...
The Odd Sea is a beautifully crafted first novel which draws the reader into a family tragedy and its painful effects on everyone it touches. The unexplained disappearance of a child evokes every family’s nightmare, and the author creates characters who are completely authentic and diverse in their responses and grief. I found this mystery to be one of the most haunting I have ever read - share it with a friend or a book club because you’ll want to discuss the infinite possibilities it contains long after you read the last page.
