Teen Loft
Overview
Welcome to the Teen Loft! Because you –grades 7 through 12– need your own space. Graphic novels, audio books, magazines, the latest fiction, and lots of other cool stuff make up a collection that's tailored to your needs. Not your mother's. Not your father's. And definitely not your little brother's or sister's. So stop by. Stretch out on huge floor pillows, meet up with friends to do some last minute studying, or just stop by and read.
Check out the Library Event Calendar to find out what activities are coming up after school and during the summer. Use our display cases to show off your artwork (you can also make your own – we've got tons of craft supplies) or just hang out and play some board games.
We have computers to use and wireless Internet access for your laptop. You can even find a good book. The library's always good for that. Need to do some research, but not sure where to start? Check out our online resources page where you can search for newspaper and magazine articles, reference materials, and more. Also try the Newburyport Public Schools websitefor school info. The City of Newburyport Youth Services website has lots to share.
