Join us as gardener Gail Anderson presents an armchair tour of public gardens north of Boston – gardens with important history and significant horticultural elements. Anderson will "introduce" us to the ladies and gentlemen who spearheaded the creation of these gardens, some more than a century ago.
She will also discuss the designs of the various gardens. The colorful photos depict perennial borders, woodland paths, water features, and other visually stunning aspects of these gardens. The audience will see special plants at each property and hear about the efforts to restore these landscapes.
