Event Anti-Racism and Liberation Lecture Series: Freedom Dreaming: How do we get there? (VIRTUAL)

October 21, 2021 | 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

The Newburyport Public Library and the Amesbury Public Library are excited to be collaborating on a four part lecture series on Anti-Racism and Liberation.

Bobby Morgan closes out this four-part lecture series. In this session, he will use Bettina Love’s ‘Freedom Dreaming’ to discuss a vision of liberation and connect real-life examples with the movement towards that liberation. How do we lean in to an understanding of what “opting in” looks like for anti-racist work? Where do we go from here? The session will be organized as a lecture and then finish with a Q&A.

This event will be held on Zoom. Register online by clicking here or by calling 978-465-4428 x 242. Zoom emails a link to participants upon registration. If you do not receive a link, please 978-465-4428 x242.

All participants must follow the Library's behavior guidelines and be respectful of presenters and other participants.
