Please join us for a special Korean cooking and culture demonstration presented by the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project (KSCPP). KSCPP is an organization dedicated to the promotion of greater awareness and understanding of Korean history and culture.
Using fresh ingredients and dressed in customary Korean dress, the presenters will demonstrate how to prepare four traditional Korean dishes, and then serve a full meal (rice, soup, kimchi, main and side dishes, and dessert) with traditional table setting in Bangjja (Korean bronzeware) to patrons. KSCPP will also provide attendees with complimentary Korean recipe books and some other books on Korean history and culture. After the demonstration, we will show a short film about Korea.
Sign up is required and will begin Thursday, February 7th. Please visit us at the reference desk, sign up online, or call 978-465-4428 x242 to register. This event is full.
